I always use them!
Was the feedback of Xristos after a couple of months of use of his new WAVAYA™ Tria Live!.
Xristos choice was a Tria Live (King Midas finishing) that we considered a good choice for a Buzuki player.
He has confirmed that after trying them he cannot do without anymore!

Buzuki player in the World Music Greek Band: IMAM BAILDI
He was born in Athens in 1991. His first steps with bouzouki began when he was 10. At the age of 15 he started playing professionally in various local music places and got his degree in music theory from the Modern Corinthian Conservatory. In 2009 and alongside with his studies in preschool education at the University of Athens, he apprenticed next to some of the best bouzouki musicians such as Nikos Tatasopoulos, Grigoris Vasilas and Spyros Goumas. On the same year and until 2012 he attended traditional bagpipe lessons at the National Conservatory of Athens with Giorgos Makris and in 2015 he found himself in Nakas Conservatory attending a six-month music therapy seminar under the supervision of Pelina Evaggelou.
Ιn August 2017 he also became a member of Imam Baildi with whom he already has a lot of live performances in Greece and abroad as a tour band in venues such as SO36(Berlin), O2 Academy(London) and Moods (Switzerland). He has numerous live appearances in some of the biggest Greek live venues (Stavros tou Notou, Rythmos Stage, Hollywood Stage, Ilion Plus, etc), with artists like Foivos Delivorias, Thodoris Kotonias, Christos Ninios, Violeta Ikari, Pavlina Voulgaraki, Paraskevas Theodorakis and many more. He has recorded for Imam Baildi’s last album and other artists. From January of 2017 is part of Vietnam (cover band) .
One of his most important moments was his collaboration with the conductor Theodoros Orfanidis at the Olympic Flame lighting ceremony at Kalimarmaro Stadium in 2016. With the band “Τουτοι” he performed
“Είμαστε αλάνια” at Athens Concert Hall, playing rebetiko with bands from all over Greece.
He also appeared in some TV shows (“Oloi kaloi xwrane” “Alati tis gis’’) and in the film “Ousak kai Peiraiwtikos”.
About his band: Imam Baildi
Imam Baildi is a very popular Southeast Mediterranean dish consisting of aubergine stuffed with onion, garlic, and tomatoes simmered in olive oil. It is a similar fine blend that brothers Lysandros and Orestis Falireas and their band do – only in music!
Their sound is a unique urban blend of old Greek Music with new orchestration, production and remixing techniques.
The band: Imam Baildi
Their first two albums were the first alternative urban Greek musical projects to make their way in Europe with two top positions in the European World Music Charts.
Their recent release Imam Baildi III, is a bold crossover ranging from the Morricone-inspired “Rider”, to the cha-cha meets mariachi flavor of “Argosvinis Moni” and the climactic shake – your – booty effect of “Baila Cifteteli”. The nostalgic “Simioma”, one of the album’s singles came in 2nd in the Funkhaus Europa contest for Best Global Pop Hit 2014.
After extensive club tours in Europe and slots in major international festivals including Roskilde (photos), Sziget (video), Montreal Jazz Festival (photos), Lowlands, Transmusicales de Rennes & South by Southwest, the band has established its reputation as a uniquely engaging show that blends urban Greek flavors with intuitive production and orchestration.
So forget folklore, and get ready for intense urban sounds straight from Athens, Greece, by a 7-piece band including two brothers, a seducing female vocalist, a crowd engaging MC and three virtuosi on the bouzouki, saxophone and el. guitar, that have succeeded in getting audiences all around the world to their feet.
We have agreement to produce custom in-ears for the most of the Imam Baildi band members and we’ll keep you updated about the evolutions!
