Questions about the product

What is porcelain?
Porcelain (/ˈpɔːrsəlɪn/) is a ceramic material made by heating materials, generally including kaolin, in a kiln to temperatures between 1,200 and 1,400 °C (2,200 and 2,600 °F). The toughness, strength, and translucence of porcelain, relative to other types of pottery, arises mainly from vitrification and the formation of the mineral mullite within the body at these high temperatures. Please check the source on Wikipedia for more information.
Does porcelain break easily?
Porcelain has only few possibilities more than plastic to break. Both break if you walk on your cIEMs. Porcelain may chip if it falls on a very hard surface (such as marble) especially if cables are disconnected but this occurrence is very rare in musical environments were we generally play on carpet or wood. In order to avoid chipping it's enough to keep your cIEMs cables around your neck and, when not in use put them back in their case. If on stage our case has a free magnetic accessory that allows to be attached to any microphone or music stand: this way your cIEMs will be safe and secured. Anyway... would you renounce to drink your tea in a porcelain cup or eating in a porcelain plate because they may break? Porcelain is porcelain: one of the most precious and noble materials on hearth.
Why no other brand is producing custom in-ears made of porcelain?
One answer: because it's not easy. Porcelain is a very hard material to treat. The work to obtain a perfect product is hard. We took almost three years of research and development to come up with our product!
Aren't they heavy?
Even if porcelain specific weight is 2,4g/square cm and the epoxy resin used in the normal cIEM industry is around 1.8, being porcelain more dense than epoxy we can create them using less material. The filler used for our tubeless outlets is very light, therefore the overall weight is generally less than epoxy, depending upon the shape and the dimension.
What kind of drivers do you use?
We use balanced armatures from the most reliable and qualitative producers worldwide: Knowles and Sonion.
Are they totally tubeless?
It depends on the model. Some model may have internal tubing but the outlets are always tubeless therefore you will not experience accumulation of wax or sweat in the tubing.
What if they break?
In case of accidental breakage you may send you cIEMs to us for re-shelling. If electronics and drivers are not damaged your reshelling pricing will be 1/3 of the original pricing of your cIEMs.
Why your product is not CE marked?
REGULATION (EU) No 305/2011 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 9 March 2011 states that all the tailor made products made for a certain client in a non-series process are exempted from the CE regulation. Our products are definitely artisanal and made one by one.
What if your cIEMs cause an injury to my ear?
We are insured for any accidental damage caused by our products. Upon occurrence we will put you in contact with our insurance to file the claim.
How can I know if the Chrystals you use are original from Swarovski?
We are Swarovski branding partners and we will provide each Swarovski embellished cIEM with it's own holographic certification label to attest the authenticity of the crystal. Upon request we may show more evidence, if needed.
Are electronics guaranteed?
All the internal part of the cIEM is guaranteed one year against fabrication defects and disfunction. We will need the items returned and we'll produce a new set for you based on our standard lead times (since our in-ears cannot be open and closed for repairing). If the damage is due to water or other external agents we'll inform the client and we'll try to give him a solution for rebuilding his custom in-ears. Please refer to our legal information page for more information.

Questions about orders

What's your standard lead time?
We normally guarantee delivery within 60 days from the order. The actual lead time valid at the moment of your order will be shown at the checkout. If you want your order delivered in one month you can select the "fast track" service.
Are your delivery times guaranteed?
In case we cannot respect a "fast-track" delivery term we waive the fee, of course. In any occurrence we go late because of force major we will offer a discount, a cable upgrade or anything else appropriate to make the client happy. In any case a late delivery does not constitute a violation of the terms of the contract from our side.
Why I cannot exercise my right of withdrawal once an order is made?
No custom made product allows right of withdrawal. We may accept withdrawals if your order has not yet been sent to production: after you receive our confirmation by email (sent by our internal software automatically) unfortunately you cannot withdraw from your order anymore as reported in the DIRECTIVE 2011/83/EU OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 25 October 2011 on consumer rights, amending Council Directive 93/13/EEC and Directive 1999/44/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council and repealing Council Directive 85/577/EEC and Directive 97/7/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council.
Are your prices including VAT?
Yes, our prices include VAT. In case your company has a valid VAT number you can add it upon checkout and VAT will be waived.
How can you apply the same pricing in USD and Euro?
We actually noted that, even if the USD has less value than euro (at least at the moment we launched the website and historically in the past) we decided to offer our products priced at the same way. In case this politic will become problematic or unfair we'll not esitate to change it in the future.
What kind of payments are accepted?
We accept PayPal (both by credit card or using your account balance), Stripe (only via our US subsidiary), wire transfer (in the US trough our Subsidiary in Bank of America and in the SEPA area with accounts in Germany, Cyprus and UK), we are trying to implement bitcoins as well: please allow us some time to do so.
Can I pay by wire transfer?
Yes, of course, just select this option during checkout.
What if they don't fit or hurt?
We guarantee fitting on our total expense in case it's due to our fault. The procedure for a fitting claim is: filling our problem form, re-taking your impressions, sending back to us both the new impressions and the cIEMs. If the new impressions are the same of the old ones (that we used to produce your cIEMs) and the cIEMs are different we'll re-shell the cIEMs totally free of charge. Differently a re-shelling fee of 1/3 of the price of the cIEMs will be applied.
I need to order for my band: do you apply the same price?
Of course not! We offer competitive pricing for large bands above 4 members. Please contact us either by phone or contact form and we'll get in contact with you with a custom quote in a short time!
Can I follow the production process in any way?
Our tailor made software will inform you when your order hits the main processes (such as 3D design, firing, glazing etc.) and our staff may send you also photos of the processing stage! It will be an amazing experience!
Can I track my shipment?
Of course. Once we prepare your shipment you will receive an automatic email from DHL and you will be able to track your shipment on line!
